M&G Foundation, together with a dozen of partners, hold the Autism Awareness Day Inclusion Fun Sports Games & Charity Bazaar
From March 29 to 30, 2025, on the occasion of the 18th World Autism Awareness Day, the Shanghai M&G Foundation (hereinafter referred to as “M&G Foundation”), together with the Children’s Hospital of Fudan University and a dozen of companies and foundations, held the “I See You” Autism Awareness Day Inclusion Fun Sports Games & Charity Bazaar.
Through an innovative model of “fun sports games + charity bazaar + children’s painting exhibition”, this event leveraged the resources and strengths of the hospital, companies, charity organizations and so on, aiming to break the social prejudice against autism, promote the social inclusion of autistic children, and explore a multi-party collaborative philanthropic model to help autistic children and their families better join the society.
According to statistics, the two-day event attracted 120 families with autistic children and over 1,000 ordinary families. Over 800 people made donations.

The event kicked off at 9:00 AM on March 29th at the front of the outpatient building of the Children’s Hospital of Fudan University. Fun sports games, the key part of the event, featured eight games, including “Number Jumping”, “Cloud Sandbags”, and “Art Co-creation”. Children earned tokens for each completed task. Five tokens were exchangeable for a medal, which could be redeemed at corporate booths for stationery, snacks, and other gifts.
Under the guidance of volunteers and parents, autistic children crossed roadblocks, threw sandbags, and visited corporate booths to interact with volunteers and exchange gifts. These fun activities not only allowed the children to exercise their physical coordination, calculation skills, and social skills through games, but also provided them with a rare collective activity experience.
As more attention from all walks of life is given to the autism community, M&G Foundation is actively exploring more efficient collaborative paths and putting forward an innovative model of “fun sports games + charity bazaar + children’s painting exhibition”. This model integrates scattered efforts of the hospital, companies, charitable organizations, volunteers and the general public into systematic support.
In this event, more than a dozen of companies including M&G, Spring Airlines, CapitaLand China, Tomato Art, LYFEN, and CHAGEE jointly provided practical help to autistic children and their families through employee volunteer services and charity stall operations.

In addition, more than 60 families claimed stalls at the bazaar. They donated their belongings for charity sale and played the role of stall owners. All the proceeds will go to autism rehabilitation programs and serious illness treatment programs for children.
In its efforts to promote social inclusion for people with autism, M&G Foundation has consistently valued public advocacy. In addition to offline activities, the Foundation also uses new media platforms such as livestreams and popular science videos to educate the public about autism. In April 2024, the Foundation partnered with Gaotu High School to launch a livestream aimed at educating the public about autism. The Foundation also launched a collaborative charity product, the “Happy Planet” gift box, to offer support to children with autism and their families, urging society to pay more attention to the autistic community.

We should honor every life, and embrace every uniqueness. Moving forward, M&G Foundation will work with partners to create a more inclusive, understanding, and caring environment for children with autism.
